Type: Internship (3–6 Months, Flexible Schedule)
At Kyros Consulting Group, we help clients modernize their IT environments and embrace cloud-first strategies across industries such as staffing, consulting, and life sciences. We are seeking a Cloud Engineering Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation. This role is ideal for students and recent graduates who want to learn how applications are deployed, scaled, and secured in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
What You’ll Do
As a Cloud Engineering Intern, you will:
- Assist in deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Learn how to set up and configure core cloud services (compute, storage, networking, and security).
- Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code scripts using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Support the automation of deployments and monitoring tasks.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues alongside senior engineers.
- Help configure CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Participate in documenting cloud environments, policies, and best practices.
- Research emerging cloud technologies and prepare recommendations for internal projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) through coursework or certifications.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Understanding of networking, security basics, and virtualization concepts.
- Interest in DevOps, cloud architecture, and infrastructure automation.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows.
