Type: Internship (3–6 Months, Flexible Schedule)
At Kyros Consulting Group, we build modern, user-friendly digital solutions for clients across IT, staffing, and life sciences. We are seeking a Frontend Developer Intern who is passionate about design and coding, and eager to learn how to translate business needs into responsive, engaging web applications. This is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and UI/UX designers while building real-world projects.
What You’ll Do
As a Frontend Developer Intern, you’ll gain practical experience by:
- Developing responsive and interactive web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Assisting in building dynamic UIs with React.js or Angular frameworks.
- Translating wireframes, mockups, and design concepts into working interfaces.
- Ensuring applications are mobile-friendly and ADA/508-compliant.
- Debugging and resolving issues related to browser compatibility and performance.
- Collaborating with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs.
- Applying modern CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, SASS, TailwindCSS) to enhance user experience.
- Participating in Agile development cycles, including sprint reviews and stand-ups.
- Documenting frontend development standards and contributing to knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and basic debugging tools.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
